BMW Group has reached a new record in sales for the month February in what is appearing to be a trend across the market. Consumers are becoming more confident and they are now more willing to purchase more high end cars thanks to being able to buy through good finance schemes, this is of course great for the likes of BMW.
In February BMW, MINI and Rolls Royce (who are all part of BMW Group) sold a total of 151,952 units which is a 7.6 increase on the amount they sold in the February of 2014. Member of the Board of Management of BMW AG, Sales and Marketing BMW, Ian Robertson had this to say:
I am confident that our fresh model line-up, including the brand new BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer and the updated BMW 1 Series we’ve just premiered at the Geneva Motor Show, will provide the momentum to keep us growing in 2015
It is not really a surprise that BMW made up the majority of sales with 131,416 delivered to customers globally. The 2 series did 7,302, whilst the BMW 4 Series delivered 9,636, the BMW X4 sold 4,040 with the BMW X5 being one of the biggest sellers with 12,916 sold. The BMW i3 and i8 also sore a significant increase and they totaled 2,165.
